Dhoon Lodge R.V. Resort offers something for everyone; we have 32 fully serviced R.V. sites with some of the biggest sites in Newfoundland. Measuring at over 3000 square feet each site has electrical and septic service, along with a fully licensed lounge and restaurant on site. If the campground is not something you are looking for we also have motel style units that have a rustic country charm once you step inside. We are proud of what we have to offer but most of all we are proud of where we offer it to. Harry’s River runs adjacent to our 23 acres of property and is one of Newfoundland’s best Salmon Rivers.
"Harry’s river has one of the largest Atlantic salmon runs in Newfoundland, along with anglers catching 20 lb plus salmon making it a river you will want to fish and is only a few minutes stroll from our property"
"The Roadhouse 460 offers a spectacular setting and atmosphere combined with amazing, simple food." Eric Hynes, Executive Chef of Dhoon Lodge, started his career at a young age in the town of Stephenville, Newfoundland working in many of the restaurants that are still there today. After several years he spread his wings and moved to many larger cities in Canada, working in upscale restaurants and honing his skills competing in many Provincial, National and World Competitions. Chef Eric has earned a Red Seal in Cooking and a Red Seal in Baking, along with many Gold Medals.
Route 460 RoadHouse
Dhoon Lodge's delicious restaurant, Route 460 Roadhouse, believes that all of their guests should be treated like family, free from stress and be served meals that are enjoyed by all. Our food is inspired by this belief and our menu reflects many items that you would be served at your parent’s kitchen table on any given evening of the week. Route 460 Roadhouse is simple food that does not break the bank we simply believe
“Good food does not have to be expensive or fancy, its food cooked right”
